Requirements
To earn the BCIR designation, a professional must:
  • Join and maintain membership in IAMC,
  • Register with BCIR and pay the $250 candidacy fee,
  • Complete seven from the list of nine BCIR core courses and satisfactorily pass the exam given if there is one by the sponsoring organization,
  • Submit a thesis paper that describes your original research on an industrial real
    estate topic,
  • Sit for and pass an oral defense of your thesis paper.
