Jack Brophy is a respected and active player in both business and academic arenas. His business savvy, leadership & organizational skills, and commitment to excellence are evidenced by his thirty-two years career as a corporate real estate professional and key player.
For twenty plus years, he was the Vice President & Director of Real Estate for U. S. Gypsum (USG), a Fortune 500 company. He is a founding board member and the first Chairman of the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC) and a founding board member and Chairman of the professional Association of Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate (AECRE). He has taught a graduate-level real estate course at the University of Wisconsin and written several business articles. He frequently speaks to corporate leaders and professional business associations about corporate real estate strategies.
Having been a board director (12 years), secretary, treasurer, second vice president, first vice president, chapter chair and frequent committee member Jack was an active member of IDRC for more than twenty years.
