IAMC member Mert Livingstone has joined the Johnson & Johnson Global Pharmaceutical R&D Operations group as vice
 president of global facilities. In this role, Mert will be responsible for the direction of Global Strategic and Capital Planning for R&D Pharmaceutical Facilities as well as responsibility for facility operations through regional leaders in the East Coast, West Coast and Europe. The portfolio includes 20 locations and approx. 6 million sq ft. of mostly laboratory and specialized development facilities. Mert, an IAMC member since 2003 and frequent workshop presenter, possesses a strong background in corporate real estate and facilities management within the pharmaceutical industry, with over 20 years of experience with Pfizer, Pharmacia, Monsanto and Searle.
