IAMC Hits 500
The Industrial Asset Management Council’s (IAMC’s) board of directors is proud to announce that the organization registered its 500th member on June 18, 2008, just shy of six years since its incorporation on June 30, 2002. On this, board Chair Pete Garra says, "IAMC’s 500 member milestone is nothing short of remarkable and a fitting tribute to all those involved; from its leadership and staff to its individual members. We all should take great pride in this accomplishment. Less than six years ago, IAMC’s founding members and Conway Data perceived a need for an elite corporate real estate organization that would be member driven and industrial focused. From idea to reality, IAMC has been a success story. Zero to 500 members in a few short years is not only humbling but also a confirmation that IAMC has the correct formula for success. I am personally extremely proud of what we have accomplished and congratulate each and everyone involved with IAMC. We could not be better positioned for continued success. Enjoy the moment……I certainly am!"

"This is truly a great accomplishment for Director, Membership Development Cathy Pierce, all IAMC staff and most importantly the exceptional volunteer leadership of IAMC. For the record, applicant No. 500 is Chris McGowan of the Siouxland Initiative in Sioux City, Iowa," notes Executive Director Ron Starner. And known for getting to the essence of things, former Chair Scott Reed concludes, "Congratulations! Great product; great membership; great support staff!"
