'A Place for Healing and Rejuvenation'

#########
Ron Starner
In his August column for the IAMC Dispatch Newsletter, Executive Director Ron Starner writes, "If you have traveled a lot - and most of you have - then you know that very few hotels make a lasting impression. One of those hotels that leaves an indelible mark on the mind of the traveler is The Homestead in Hot Springs, Va. Host site of the Fall 2010 IAMC Professional Forum set for Oct. 2-6, The Homestead is much more than a place to rest your weary head, however. It is, in short, 'a place for healing and rejuvenation.'" Read more.

Check Out These Homestead Resort Activities and Many Others

The Homestead resort, host venue for IAMC's Fall 2010 Professional Forum, is nestled in Virginia's Appalachian Mountains. The locals call this mountainous and woodsy area the Alleghany Highlands. In Ron Starner’s article in this newsletter, Homestead General Manager Peter Faraone describes his hotel as "a place for healing and rejuvenation." For some, that means sleeping late and then reading a good book. For others, rejuvenation requires activity. And the Homestead is prepared to offer its guests interesting, fun and often challenging things to do to help them relax and recharge their spirits. Read more.
