On-site Policies & Guidelines

A. Scheduled Professional Forum Sessions, Workshops & Events

There may be no activity scheduled that will compete in any way with the IAMC Professional Forum programs. The following are examples of typical scheduled IAMC Professional Forum activities:

  1. All Education Sessions, including General Sessions, Workshops & Peer-to-Peer.
All Scheduled Food Functions, including Breakfasts, Luncheons, Dinners, Receptions & Other Networking Events.

B. Private Functions at Professional Forums
  • Private dinners can have up to 10 Active members in attendance. Please note that the dinner host is ultimately responsible for their attendees.
  • Private dinners with more than 5 Active members should register with IAMC. While IAMC is not monitoring the private dinners, it receives requests from members who are considering holding private functions and need to plan accordingly. Notification of the planned private dinners with more than 5 Active members should be sent to Angel Fortenberry as soon as a private event is scheduled.
  • Private dinners must be scheduled in time slots that avoid competition with scheduled Forum events, workshops and receptions.
  • As members, we all may receive invitations to private events. Your Board of Directors strongly encourages Active Members to favor and/or attend private events that are held by official Sponsors of IAMC since these organizations contribute heavily to the financial support of IAMC.
    C. Registration Policies
    1. IAMC offers no partial or daily registration.
    2. Personal guests must register to attend any or all of the Professional Forum meetings and events.
    3. Personal guest registration may not be used by co-workers or industry peers.
    4. Retired and Academic registrations are for IAMC members only.
    5. Sponsored prospective Active members may attend a Forum for one day only at no charge.
    D. Badge Requirements
    1. The official IAMC Professional Forum badge is required for admittance to all events and must be displayed for all meeting sessions, social functions and other events.
    2. This policy applies too all registrants and personal guests so no one infringes upon space reserved for IAMC attendees.
    3. Anyone attempting to enter IAMC events without proper credentials will be challenged and may be denied admittance.
    E. Cancellations
    1. Deadlines for each Professional Forum apply to both Forum and Personal Guest Registrations.
    2. To be considered for refunds, all cancellation requests must be made in writing by the published deadline for each Professional Forum.
    3. Golf Registrations
      1. Cancellation policies also apply to all golf registrations and must be made in writing by the published deadline due to contractual obligations with the golf facility.
      2. Every attempt will be made to fulfill special pairing requests, but no guarantees can be made.
