If you want information on a CRE topic

First, go to the home page and use the "search" box. Type in the CRE term on which you need information and press "enter". Make that term as short as you can. You can also use quotation marks, wild card characters (*) or the minus sign to refine your search. Also, try several variations of it to see how these change results presented.

Second, use the menu item "Index Search" and scroll down to the term that is mostly likely to cover your topic.

If your topic is not listed on the topics index

If you are seeking information about a core CRE topic, which is not listed on the index, please propose that the topic be added to the index in an e-mail to Joel Parker. He will track the requests and add new index topics when the number of requests suggests this is appropriate.
