Offering locally tailored opportunities and member benefits, IAMC Regions are currently spread across seven geographical areas:

• Northeast
• Mid-Atlantic
• Southeast
• Midwest
• Great Plains
• South Central
• West Coast

The Regions Program is guided by a core of primary objectives: to enhance IAMC’s Active membership through local networking events and regionally-relevant learning and professional development opportunities.  Regional events also help increase local awareness about IAMC and provide an additional forum for delivering educational content year-round. 

Regional officers and committee chairs are appointed by local IAMC members and have considerable latitude regarding leadership, educational programs and recruitment efforts. Each Region is financially self-sustained.

Concurrent IAMC Regional meetings are held during IAMC Professional Forums. The Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and South Central Regions also hold regular local meetings.

All IAMC members are encouraged to become regionally active.
