IAMC Research Roundtable
"How Corporate Real Estate Can Enhance its Contribution to Company Productivity"

Featuring Moderator Lisa Speltz of Nestl‚ Waters, this Active-member-only professional education program will focus on how corporate real estate can help raise corporate productivity through the shared experiences of those present.

Peer to Peer Discussions

Highly interactive Peer-to-Peer is an IAMC trademark combining low-key professional networking with high-value education. Corporate end-users, service providers and economic developers mix, make new acquaintances and get to know each other in a format in which table groups discuss topical business issues. In addition, time is allocated for corporate end-users to meet separately and for service providers with economic developers to have their own program. The results of each table's discussions will be recorded and shared later via IAMC's Web site.

The business of leasing industrial space is one of the most important and time consuming corporate real estate tasks. Negotiating lease document language can consume a significant proportion of this time. This interactive program will evaluate three lease clauses. For each, an end-user will kick off the discussion with a 3-4 minute presentation describing its unique challenges and how his/her company deals with them. The program format is intended to be lively, and participation from all attendees is encouraged.

Williamsburg will be "Get Some Help's" fourth offering. End-user attendees at the San Diego Professional Forum rated "Get Some Help" the conference's top program where topics discussed included: the cost segregation method of depreciating tenant improvements; conversion of industrial-use land to residential use; how end-users account for and bill their business travel expenses; and many others.
