EDUCATION PROGRAM POLICIES

The following policies apply to all IAMC education programs, including but not limited to the IAMC PILLAR program which includes Skills Paths, on-demand courses, Intensives and any other professional development offerings administered by IAMC ("Education Programs"). In the event of a conflict between these Education Program Policies and the General Terms & Conditions above, these Education Program Policies shall control.

1. REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

Registration for an Education Program is complete only upon receipt of full payment or an approved purchase order. IAMC reserves the right to remove a participant from an Education Program roster if payment is not received within fifteen (30) days of the invoice date or prior to the program start date, whichever is earlier. Pricing is subject to change; the rate in effect at the time of registration confirmation shall apply.

2. REFUND POLICY

IAMC recognizes that circumstances may require a registrant to cancel their enrollment. Refund eligibility is determined by the date written cancellation notice is received by IAMC at pillar@iamc.org.

60 or more days prior to program start: Full refund, less a $75 administrative processing fee.

30 days prior to program start: 50% refund of registration fees paid, less a $75 administrative processing fee.

14 days or fewer prior to program start: No refund will be issued.

No-shows: Registrants who do not attend and have not provided prior written notice are not eligible for a refund.

Refunds will be processed within 45 business days of the receipt of a valid cancellation request. Registration fees are non-refundable in cases where a participant is removed from a program due to a violation of the Code of Conduct (see Section 6).

3. SUBSTITUTION & TRANSFER POLICY

Substitutions

There are no substitutions.

Transfers to a Future Program

If a participant cannot attend a scheduled program, they may request to transfer their registration to a future offering of the same program, subject to availability. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing at least 30 days prior to the program start date. Only one (1) transfer per registration is permitted. Transfers are not permitted fewer than 15 days before the start date; the standard refund schedule will apply instead.

4. ATTENDANCE POLICY

Minimum Attendance Requirement

Active participation and attendance are fundamental to the learning objectives of IAMC Education Programs. Participants in IAMC’s Skills Path are eligible for one excused absence and will be required to complete an absence activity in order to be eligible to receive a certificate of completion, continuing education credits, or any designation associated with the program.

Absence Notification

Participants who anticipate an absence should notify the program administrator in advance. Absences do not alter the 80% minimum threshold and do not entitle a participant to a refund.

Make-Up Sessions

IAMC does not guarantee the availability of make-up sessions. Where a recorded or asynchronous option is offered, IAMC may, at its sole discretion, allow completion of that component as a substitute for live attendance. This exception must be approved in advance by the Education Director.

5. PROGRAM CANCELLATION & MODIFICATION BY IAMC

IAMC reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any Education Program at its sole discretion, including changes to dates, location, format (in-person to virtual), faculty, or content. In the event IAMC cancels a program outright, registered participants will receive a full refund of fees paid or the option to transfer to a future program offering. IAMC is not responsible for non-refundable travel, lodging, or other incidental expenses incurred by participants in connection with a cancelled or modified program.

IAMC will provide notice of cancellation or significant changes as promptly as reasonably practicable via the email address on file for each registrant.
