Looking for a Way to Get More Involved in IAMC? Become an Ambassador

For many new members, IAMC Ambassadors are one of the first friendly faces they meet – and the connection that helps them feel at home in our community.

We’ve recently expanded the Ambassador Program to support new members throughout their entire first year of membership, not just during their first Forum. Ambassadors are experienced IAMC members who know the ins and outs of both IAMC and our Forums. They serve as mentors, guides and connectors – helping new members navigate their first months, understand what to expect at Forums, and build relationships that last long after the closing session.

Walking into a Forum with 400+ people you’ve never met can be overwhelming. Ambassadors make sure that by the end of the event, every new member leaves with meaningful connections and a stronger sense of belonging in IAMC.

If you’ve wanted to volunteer with IAMC but don’t have the bandwidth to serve on a committee, becoming an Ambassador is a great way to get involved.

Benefits of serving as an Ambassador include:

• Meet and welcome new members and attendees – because when relationships come first, the business follows
• Give back to the IAMC community in a meaningful way
• Demonstrate leadership and involvement within IAMC

Ambassador requirements:

• At least 2 years of IAMC membership
• Attendance at a minimum of 2 Forums
• Attend at least 2 Forums
• Commitment to connect with your Ambassadee for their first year
• Willingness to share your IAMC knowledge and experience
