Knowledge at Your Fingertips

By Mark Nortman, Director of Member Engagement

Professional development and knowledge sharing opportunities are two of IAMC’s key offerings. You are most likely very familiar with IAMC events, from Forums to Locals and Internationals to Webinars.  But, are you familiar with the professional development resources available to you 24/7 through IAMC Cornerstone?

Featuring both Discussion Boards (online networking and knowledge sharing with your fellow IAMC members) and a Knowledge Center (a repository of written and audio/video resources), Cornerstone is a robust way to keep in touch with your peers and abreast of best practices in between IAMC events.

The Knowledge Center
A repository of white papers, studies, session recording & presentations, and executive summaries, the Knowledge Center is sorted by IAMC practice area such as Construction Management, Facilities Management and Lease Administration. You can also search resources by event including Forums as well as recordings from our webinars.

Discussion Boards
IAMC’s private discussion boards offer you the opportunity to ask and answer questions in real time.  You can also search past conversations. From best practices to recommendations and even job openings, this is a great way to share and learn from thought leaders in your industry.

You can access Cornerstone by logging into IAMC website and clicking on the Cornerstone tab. If you need help accessing your login credentials, I would be happy to assist you with resetting them.

Additionally, please reach out to me if you have any questions about Cornerstone, any other member benefit, or simply about getting further involved at mark.nortman@iamc.org or 770-352-3430.
