International Webinar Series Brazil - Supply Chain Management: Trends and Opportunities Opening speaker is Walter Zinn a Professor of Logistics at The Ohio State University. Walter will address how technology, economic and political events and, most critically, changes in consumer behavior dictate how supply chains must be designed, adapted and run. Management must continuously evolve in response as coping is essential to survival. He will also cover how some key trends are affecting supply chains and the careers of its managers. Examples include, consumer centrism, sustainability and plasticity, supply chain visibility, last mile deliveries, omnichannel and variance in transportation cost. He will explore not only the trends themselves but also their implications for practice.
