Norfolk Southern Case Study for Locating/Consolidating Operations to Atlanta, Georgia
Incentives, corporate goals, excess property, community negotiations all impacted the decision for NS to build and occupy new headquarters in Atlanta after years of split locations for the leadership teams among Atlanta, Norfolk and Roanoke. Additionally, the facility is a state-of-the-art center for management, productivity and collaboration. Innovative design addressed many facets and disciplines to create a center of excellence in headquarters design and operations.
