DAVENTRY INTERNATIONAL RAIL FREIGHT TERMINAL (DIRFT)
 Join IAMC for a tour of DIRFT organised by Chairman’s Circle Sponsor Prologis. Prologis RFI is recognised as the most successful intermodal (rail/road) logistics park in the UK because of its proximity to the M1 motorway and West Coast Mainline. Infrastructure/servicing is installed and planning permission (under a Development Consent Order) is in place. The success of Prologis RFI DIRFT is primarily due to its optimum location for warehousing and logistics in the centre of Britain, with strategic road connections to the M1 (adjacent to J18) and M6/A14 interchange (within 5 miles). Its clients include Tesco, Sainsburys, Royal Mail, DHL, NHS to name a few. During the tour you will learn more on the masterplan, its multimodal - 3 intermodal rail freight terminals on site, and The Hub Logistics Training Academy, ParkLife and much more. The tour to DIRFT will take place on Wednesday 8th March (and transport is provided from the Grand Hotel Birmingham.
