Building and Selling Your Industrial Business Case

Great industrial corporate real estate leaders know that the value of a project isn’t just in the square footage—it’s in the strategy and the story you tell.

IAMC is launching a new PILLAR Skills Path, Building and Selling Your Industrial Business Case. This interactive program will equip you to frame industrial real estate as a solution to business challenges, linking your projects directly to enterprise goals.

Practical Application:

  • Understand the broader context of business cases alongside the technical process of creating one
  • Leverage the distinct qualities that set industrial real estate apart to develop a business case that clearly demonstrates business impact
  • Consider how external factors—like market shifts, interest rates, tariffs, or geopolitical changes—influence recommendations
  • Identify opportunities and persuade key players to influence decision-making
  • Raise awareness of organizational blind spots and uncover inefficiencies within your industrial asset portfolio

A highlight of IAMC's PILLAR Skills Paths is its emphasis on collaborative learning: you won’t just learn from experts—you’ll learn with peers from diverse organizations and roles. Through interactive sessions, group projects, and structured peer feedback, you’ll see how others approach the same challenges, gain fresh perspectives, and build lasting professional connections

Capstone Project at IAMC's 2026 Forum

IAMC's inaugural PILLAR Skills Path will culminate in a final group capstone project where participants will develop and present a business case at an exclusive session during IAMC's Spring 2026 Forum in Little Rock, AK. Registration and attendance at IAMC's Forum is mandatory to participate.

IAMC's upcoming Skills Path, Building and Selling Your Industrial Business Case, is exclusively available to IAMC corporate end users. Seats are limited to ensure a high-quality learning experience. Applications will be reviewed, and participants will be selected based on interest, role relevance, and potential benefit from the program. Apply today.

What is a Skills Path?

They're crafted with the working professional in mind with participants committing to 10+ hours over the duration of the program. Skills Paths offer both synchronous and asynchronous learning formats to accommodate busy schedules, and course content developed to support practical application.
