By Charlene Manuel, Director of Education & Research

As industrial real estate decisions grow more strategic and complex, professionals need structured learning experiences that build both knowledge and practical capability. The IAMC PILLAR™ program is designed to help participants develop industrial expertise by combining foundational knowledge with real-world application.

Multiple Learning Formats for Working Professionals

PILLAR will include programs across multiple formats all designed to accommodate the busy schedules of industrial working professionals.

Skills Paths

3-month blended learning programs focused on real-world responsibilities in industrial corporate real estate. These cohort-based experiences combine self-paced learning with collaborative, facilitated sessions to build practical knowledge, strengthen capabilities, and support immediate workplace application.

On-Demand

Self-paced, bite-sized offerings that cover core industrial real estate concepts and best practices. Designed for busy professionals, these flexible courses help individuals, teams, and organizations quickly build or reinforce foundational industry knowledge.

Webinars

Live sessions featuring industry insights from members and guest speakers, covering topics aligned with IAMC’s Content Pyramid. These accessible webinars deliver timely knowledge and expert perspectives.

Intensives

Focused, in-person workshops offered at IAMC Forums that provide immersive, hands-on learning. Participants reinforce key concepts, engage with industry experts, and apply new skills through interactive activities and discussion.

IAMC’s pilot cohort for our Building & Selling Your Industrial Business Case will participate in their capstone project at our Spring Forum in Little Rock on Sunday, April 19. Presenting to a simulated executive panel of role-players, the capstone presentation will offer groups the opportunity to apply learnings from the course including problem definition, stakeholder analysis, and evidence-based recommendations.

Make sure to register for the IAMC Spring Forum 2026 and join IAMC to observe first-hand the culmination of this kickoff offering.
