Mission 1000 Tonnes

The organization aims to change the world by acting to protect marine and aquatic ecosystems by removing waste from the planet's oceans and waterways while working to promote the reduction at source of different sources of waste.  https://mission1000tonnes.com/la-mission/#Nosobjectifs

Mission:
Our goal is to organize the removal of 1000 tons of waste for the world’s waterways. I waste remove = 1 less danger in nature

Awareness and Mobilization:
Our initiative also aims to mobilize and raise awareness among citizens, businesses, and politicians on a global scale in order to take concrete action to save the oceans and protect aquatic ecosystems.

Alternative to Plastic:
With the 1000 tons Mission, we want to highlight and raise awareness of different eco-responsible products and lifestyle habits in order to reduce the quantity of waste, particularly plastic, generated by our lifestyles.

Protection of Ecosystems:
The 1000 Ton Mission works in collaboration with numerous partners and citizens to stimulate the creation of concrete initiatives for the protection of ecosystems.

This year's Volunteer Service Project will be a cleanup of one of Quebec City's waterways. Cleanup will take place rain or shine.
