IAMC is comprised of a remarkable group of people across members, leaders, sponsors and staff. Each of you is instrumental to the success of this organization, and that’s never been more apparent or important than now.
IAMC Members: The Reason
Belonging to and participating in IAMC is a choice, and one that we are thankful you make every day. Making sure that your investment of time and money is returned to you many times over in value is the driving force behind everything we do.
While 2020 has been a year with a unique set of challenges – to put it mildly – we hope you have been able to take advantage of the many benefits IAMC membership still offers across webinars and virtual offerings to our knowledge management center and discussion boards on Cornerstone.
IAMC Leaders: The Vision
IAMC’s team of volunteer leaders, including the board, our committee and task force chairs, and our committee and task force members have had to make tough and unprecedented decisions this year. They have led with heart and an eye on the future. Where members are the “why” of IAMC – why we do what we do every day – our leaders are the vision and drive.
Your hard work and dedication are unparalleled, and on behalf of all of staff and members, I thank you.
IAMC Staff: The Engine
Your IAMC staff works tirelessly every day to craft, implement and manage every facet of IAMC. I love the analogy of the duck gliding smoothly across a pond ... what you don’t see are his feet pedaling furiously under the water. That’s how I see staff every day. They work hard, and they do it with a smile.
And, finally, we come to the focus of this article: our sponsors. The heart and lifeblood of this organization … without you, IAMC would not be possible. With virtual events taking the stage this year, our sponsors have had to take a leap of faith with us. And we are so very grateful that they have.
