Private events may not conflict with scheduled Forum events (including sessions, workshops or receptions) including any event before, during and after an IAMC event that involves IAMC members.
Over the course of North American Forums, Saturday evening is reserved exclusively for the Host Committee Dinner, and IAMC's Welcome Reception and Dinner is held on Sunday evening. On Monday and Tuesday evenings nights, after IAMC networking receptions, many Associates members host private events.
Effective April 13, 2017, private event hosts are defined as:
- Service Providers must be a bronze sponsor ($2,500 - $4,999) or higher to host a private dinner.
- Economic Developers may collectively host an event as long as at least one of the economic developers is a bronze or higher level sponsor. The invitation and event marketing material must indicate the event hosts that are sponsors.
Private event hosts are encouraged to include “Official IAMC forum sponsor” on their invitations.
Private event hosts are encouraged to have their guests back at the hotel to attend the sponsored late evening hospitalities.
There is a 10 Active members limit per private event during the Forum.
Saturday Evening is reserved for the Host Committee’s dinner and no private events may be scheduled for Sunday Evening.
Please be respectful of our reception/event sponsors – guests cannot be taken away and buses may not be loaded before the reception/event is over.
Private events must be registered with IAMC. Please include the following information:
- Sponsoring organization
- Date and time
- Date and time
- Ground transportation provided or not
- On site contact: name, cell phone and email
