Facility owners are generally aware that some of the contents within their facilities may be  hazardous and/or regulated; however, few owners are knowledgeable of the hazardous or regulated building materials that were used  to construct those facilities. Understanding the realistic cost and time needed to identify and address hazardous building materials before the start of any demolition, renovation or construction projects can have significant impact on an Owner’s decision to renovate or expand.
