The Pros and Cons of Benchmarking: Should it be used in Industrial and Manufacturing?
There are many established tools
benchmarking rents, occupancy stats for office premises such as E&Y, CoreNet,
Benchcore, IPD. But how relevant is it for manufacturing premises and is it of
use? The critical element of a benchmarking tool are the contributors and the
peer group that sign up. The better the peer group the better the data the better
the benchmarking. We believe there is value in IAMC picking and backing a
particular benchmarking model. Do you? This panel session will explore the pros
and cons of benchmarking in the manufacturing arena and gauge whether this IAMC
community is interested.
