Longtime IAMC member and friend Margaret Peake Grissom Gittner, Villa Hills, Ky. 72 entered into the loving arms of Jesus December 27, 2021 after a long battle with Interstitial Lung Disease (unrelated to Covid). Margaret was born February 9, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky to Martha Schott and Thaddeus Andrew Peake. Margaret graduated from University of Louisville, 1978 and from the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute in 1989 and became a Certified Economic Developer.

What better way to kick off another year of Big 5 reports than with IAMC Chair Scott Cameron’s plans for his term. The Sonoco global real estate manager clearly sees his role as forwarding the goals of the Council’s strategic plan, and the resultant agenda is intended to move the ball closer to the finish line. 

Sam Waterston famously said “If you’re not moving forward, you’re falling back.”  That is very apropos for professionals, especially in today’s ever-changing business climate.

Longtime IAMC member and friend Donald Ernest Alexander, 67, died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Born August 27, 1954, in Gardiner, Maine, he was the son of Donald V. and Phoebe E. Alexander.
